Press Releases | 1 de December de 2015

The IMED Levante Hospital organised their first international "Healthy Morning" event last Friday in which around 100 people from different countries such as Holland, Belgium, the UK, Norway and Germany participated. Despite the rain, which slightly marred the start of the day which however soon brightened up, participants enjoyed a morning full of activities to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

One of the most popular activities was the introduction to Nordic Walking, a form of outdoor exercise which originated from the training carried out by Scandinavian cross country skiers in summer. This modality of sport has become considerably more widespread in recent years and is recommended by experts as a way of  virtually using all the  muscle groups of the body.
